  02 - Life's a Pitch 21/10/2020 - I have now completed my "Life's a Pitch" project and I'm currently practising my pitch that I will have to either present on Thursday 22nd October 2020 or Friday 23rd October 2020. Please see images, a short description and two slides from my presentation below, for my game "Turtle Logger". Overview The overall goal of Turtle Logger is to achieve the highest score you possibly can. The gameplay will get more difficult overtime meaning the higher the score, the more mechanics you are faced with.

02 - Life's a Pitch 14/10/2020 - I have made a start on my "Life's a Pitch" project that is required for the 22nd October 2020. Below are the three random mechanics I got given for this project: - Instant Death - Forced Constant Movement - Block Path I put together a few different images that are relevant to my design on my Pinterest page. (As seen below) Once I finished with my image research. I decided to do a small sketch up of what I had in-mind for the game I was making along with basic mechanics. (See below) After I finished my sketch and notes, I brought it to life in Photoshop (see below). I also started my presentation in PowerPoint too. For next week, I will finish off my complete design in Photoshop, my presentation in PowerPoint and practise presenting my brief in a professional manor.

  01 - Top Down Level Design Final Submission 05/10/2020 - I created my final design in photoshop with a few extra added touches and details along the way. (As well as updating my final sketch design to match up accordingly). After I finished everything to do with this assignment, I proofread my word document and doubled checked my final design to ensure I hadn't missed anything out or made any mistakes.  Below is my final design with the overview of the game: Overview Player 1 & 2 are both bandits that scavenge scrap metal from junkyards in the year 2130; as planet Earth has now turned into a wasteland. However, when they enter this junkyard the enormous metal door slams shut behind them locking the players out... The aim of the game is to work together to escape from the junkyard that has been taken over by goblins! All the mechanics from the brief have been utilised with player 1 having a modified scrap metal firearm.
